Recently, our basis has changed the logon from User/Password to SingleSignOn (much to my enjoy). Unfortunately, since we're using SingleSignOn we can no longer connect to the systems using eclipse.

Session Data

As soon as I change the logon method in the SAP GUI to manual connection (Username/Password), I can connect to the systems using eclipse without any problems.

My searches in the SCN does not result in any relevant topics. So I hope that you can provide me some additional information to use the combination Eclipse and SSO.

sorry about the delay. I had to jump on a more important matter and then had a hard drive failure. I did test your idea and it does seem to work but there might be some complication to what we would like to do. We have reports with several sub reports and in order to get this done we would need to add in a subreport like you said for each. One of our reports has 15 sub reports so that's an extra 15 subreports that has to be added in just to let this work. It should work this way but it's a time consuming process.

I'm not understanding fully how your formula works so perhaps I can just ask this to clear up my question. My understanding is that I will have to put this in 15 times for the report I mentioned above.

So let's say this is the report:

Main Report:

Sub Report #1:

MeasureCode = Tonne (Decimal Places is 2)

MeasureCode = Dumps(Decimal Places is 2)

MeasureCode = km (Decimal Places is 0)

MeasureCode = Loads (Decimal Places is 3)

Sub Report #2:

MeasureCode = Tonne (Decimal Places is 2)

MeasureCode = Dumps(Decimal Places is 2)

MeasureCode = Meters (Decimal Places is 4)

MeasureCode = Loads (Decimal Places is 3)

MeasureCode = Weight(Decimal Places is 1)

So as you can see in sub report #2 we have Meters and not KM and also Weight. In order to get the data our program runs a SQL script for each sub report. So the above example will have these 2 files as the datasets:

So in both of the xml it will have the decimal value column. So my question will be will this work if I do it like this:

Main Report:

Sub Report #0 (Decimal Values):

MeasureCode = All Measure Codes (All Decimal Places)

Sub Report #1:

MeasureCode = Tonne (Decimal Places is 2)

MeasureCode = Dumps(Decimal Places is 2)

MeasureCode = km (Decimal Places is 0)

MeasureCode = Loads (Decimal Places is 3)

Sub Report #2:

MeasureCode = Tonne (Decimal Places is 2)

MeasureCode = Dumps(Decimal Places is 2)

MeasureCode = Meters (Decimal Places is 4)

MeasureCode = Weight(Decimal Places is 1)

and my datasets will be:

So basically I'll be adding in one sub report for All measure codes as well as their relevant decimal value's. Then subreport 1 can "match" the measure code with subreport 0 and get the decimal value. Same for subreport 2 and any additional sub reports.

Thanks for quick response.

Below is my requirement complete details. Here two systems one is “SAP Studio” and another one “SAP System”.

SAP Studio data having individual ID for each record. This record we call as GUID for SAP Studio
I created a custom button in SAP Studio

If any user select record in SAP Studio and click on custom button.
Then SAP Studio record data connected to SAP System, and store these values in SAP System (All fields are same in both parties), then generate new ID in SAP System for that record. We call it as GUID for SAP System.
New record GUID of SAP System, again reflect in SAP Studio record.

I’m new to SAP and SAP Studio so please help me out.

Please find the response as follows-

(a) If you post the RT credit line item with clearing restriction 8, I think it will not roll-up to the parent.

Only when the clearing restriction 8 is removed, the line-item is rolled up to the parent.

(b) Rather than enhancing the event, try to put the logic in the custom FM in the clearing step under the clearing variant.

Hi Prakash,

You can definitely use simulation option to check for "What If" scenarios.

Creating a client in quality is not a bad idea either. The quality client has to be created on the target system side and you can perform client copy from production using profiles SAP_PROF and SAP_USER

All the GRC configuration has to be done to add this new client as target system in GRC.

You can try with an XSL inside the adapter, but it looks weird to introduce in the body the XML declaration, if you try the Michals example, it doesn't introduce the XML declaration.

We have HR Forms in Std where we use for ESS. Ask ur ABAPer to prepare a driver pool program for that smart form which calls the Payslip the data & create a report where we can run the payslip to display with that custom smartform.

I'm trying to develop an application which runs on a mobile device. There you should be able to make a picture with the camera and save it in the SAPoffice. There should also be a link generated between the image and the SAP object. What I did so far was the following:

I implemented a function which is able to make a picture. This picture is going to be transformed into a BASE64 string. Afterwards I send this data to the SAP System. I create a SAP Object and now I want to store the image. First of all I created a XSTRING out of the BASE64 string then I converted the XSTRING into BINARY. And now I'm callling the FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_INSERT_API' but here I get an error. The coding looks like the following:

Hi,

1. Create a virtual storage loc in plant A.

2. Transfer the goods to the virtual storage loc from plant B using any stock transfer method (301 or STO),

3. If the BOM exists and you want subcontract scenario, create a subcontract PO to the vendor (plant B) with the main component. Issue the subcomponents from the virtual storage location to vendor (plant B) with respect to PO. Maintain "free" indicator in PO if its FOC.

4. Do GR for the subcontract PO to the new virtual storage loc. Now, physically stock is in plant B, but virtually (in SAP), its in plant A, virtual storage loc.

5. Maintain the correct shipping point (that is shipping point of plant B) to the virtual storage loc and plant combination.

6. Create Sales order in plant A and deliver the goods from plant A, virtual storage loc. In this case, physically you will be delivering from plant B, but in SAP, it will be from plant A.

Alternatively, refer the document, which may give you some idea: Third-Party Subcontracting using SC Vendor Concept

But may I know why you are transferring to plant A virtually only and follow complicated and odd business process?????

I need your help to fix my first EJB programme

I have created a DC project for EJB 3.0. (SampleClass & SampleClassRemote)

I have created DC Java project for calling the session class.

But I think the lookup string is wrong. When I checked "ejb-j2ee-engine.xml" not shown any JNDI property like old EJB project.

Yes. My bad We don't have REST V2 deployed. Ours is SAP NW IDM 7.2 SP7.

From section 'Deploying the REST Interface Version' i could see prerequisite as SAP NetWeaver Identity Management Identity Center 7.2 SP8 so the document may not applicable for us.

I had a quick look at SAP NetWeaver Identity Management Identity Cent... | SCN and will check for any info available on XSRF token missing or authorization applicable for our environment.
