I am creating a program to be used to change an user´s password when the user gets locked, currently in client 250 using SU01 the password can be changed. The client has all the users centralized data in system 250 and production environment is 900.
I have two options to create the password change program:
1) Use a BAPI to perform the password change.I found BAPI_USER_CHANGE, however if i use it in 300 for example it will not let me, as the client data is centralized in 250 and only in 250 can be changed. Anyone knows if this BAPI (or any other BAPI) can be used in 250 and ask for a password reset of system 900? i can call it from 900 via RFC and execute it in 250 but i have not found if i can set the destination system for the password reset.
2) Create a RFC FM to connect from any system to 250, in this FM create a batch input to change the user password in SU01. I have not tried this option yet, however, the issue is how to choose the system as i do not see whatever system is chosen in the alv in the screen in the recording output.
Any help provided will be appreciated, any other ideas to create the program.
