MDM portal iView date issue

Hi,

We are using portal iViews for updating data in MDM data manager. We are getting an error for all the date fields in the portal. If  31.01.2014 is selected an error is returned saying ' Enter a date value.'. I am not able to find from where this message is getting triggered. Please help!!
