Yes, Malik is right...Whenever you run the query on BEx, it always takes the prompt values and does an AND..It cannot perform OR on the prompt values....
For doing OR in BEx, we use an indirect approach of using different Restricted Key figures and restrict them individually with Ready for Input variables.
